Today Larry our grandmothers hairstylist came by to cut Sarah's hair before she goes in for chemo which should be may 1st. I was just suppose to get a trim but then I decided to get the same hair cut. In order to donate your hair to locks of love, you have to donate at least 10 inches... Sarah and I donated 15 inches!!! I cried of course ha ha it took a while to get used to but now we love it:)
Tomorrow I go in so they can take the first pint of blood, after that I will wait a week so they can take another pint, then wait another week for my surgery. The reason for taking 2 pints of my blood is so that they can put my own blood back into me after the surgery. They will be taking about 2 pints of marrow and blood combined.

You both are beautiful! Not just because of the hair cut. beauty comes from heart and soul! You both have more than I could have wished. My heart is with you both every minute of the day. wish I was there to help but belive me I am with you. I have a picture of you picking daisies by my bed. Today Ben asked me who are they? I told him the twins when they were little littles He smiled ( he knows I am sad.
I love your haircuts!! They look really good. We are all thinking about you and you are in our prayers. Maybe you could change your blog so people can leave annonymous comments. Then they could just leave their name in the messege! Love You All
Looks like you figured it out! Let me know if you need anything else. Love you both.

I guess the Steve sandwich is going to half to wait for a bit? : ( They say good things are worth the wait, we will have have to see? Your blog is great, thanks for all the updates. Your haircuts look awesome a couple of diva's. Sara I hope Chels gave a kiss to you from me, and your mom should have given you a special hug that I gave her to give to you!
I have no doubt that when you look back at this time of your life's there will be memories of happiness. Not all the medical procedures and hospital crap and everything associated with that, but how much love you shared and how closer you all came. How you learned to be apart and become more independent and trusting of your-self's, but also becoming closer than you ever have. Reaffirming how amazing your family is and how important that special bond of family is. You will have learned how fragile life can be, and how important it is to enjoy every day and not take it for granted. Please know that you have a bigger group of people, family and friend that you can even imagine whose thoughts, prayers and love are with you and your family. God bless, and prayers of a speedy recovery.
Love, hugs and kisses,
Steve
